The presence of the esteemed UNESCO environmental representative, along with a delegation of directors general, deputies, and expert specialists from various provinces across the country, provided a valuable opportunity to explore the unique and pristine natural potential of the region. Following their field visit to Touran National Park and their stop in the village of Ghaleh Bala, the delegation expressed great appreciation for the area’s exceptional environmental features and emphasized the importance of sustainable planning for the responsible use of natural resources.
During the visit, the delegation highlighted the region’s high potential for nature-based tourism, particularly in the field of ecotourism, and stressed the urgent need to develop alternative livelihoods that are both environmentally friendly and economically viable. Active participation of local communities was recognized as a key factor in the success of environmental protection efforts and sustainable development initiatives.


It is hoped that with continued national and international support, this valuable region will flourish even further, and meaningful steps will be taken toward the global recognition of Touran National Park and the village of Ghaleh Bala.
